Guest guest
if there is absolutely no way to get around this in New Jersey can you at least get the MMR separated into 3 separate vaccinations and spaced at least a month apart? Somewhere I read that they should have extra vitamin A and/or Vitamin C before the vaccination. Betty ----- Original Message ----- From: Ethrybr@... OK I need help figuring something out. All my kids were vacinated and recently my 5year old got his boosters with at least 3 shots in the arm. The MMR was skipped simply because they thought he already had his booster at a different ped. office a year ago. He didn't receive the booster then either so they were wrong and have requested me to come in to get MMR booster. Also his school has requested proof in time to go to kindergarten in Sept. I am in NJ and I think it is absolutely required by law that he be vacinated? Any guidance on this? This is my son who hasn't been officially diagnosed but I think has Asperger's. He is very small and pale with cronic constipation. Debbie
Guest guest
First off, get your child's titers done for all the diseases, chances are he's already immune and does not need the boosters. This was true for both my sons, one autistic, one not. If he is immune, he can be exempted from receiving the boosters in New Jersey. Also if he's not immune, you can do a religious exemption in NJ, contact your local health dept. on how to obtain. n a message dated 4/22/2001 2:08:14 AM Eastern Daylight Time, banthony@... writes: << if there is absolutely no way to get around this in New Jersey can you at least get the MMR separated into 3 separate vaccinations and spaced at least a month apart? Guest guest
That's right...boost their immune system before the vaccine...that the vaccine depletes their vit. A. So give loads of both...I don't know dosages! I heard that too, Betty! H, mom to 3 yrs, PDD; and 23 months Somewhere I read that they should have extra vitamin A and/or Vitamin C before the vaccination.
