Guest guest
Members, We personally let our son sleep in our room also. We desperate for sleep and one will do whatever to achieve it. What works for one family will not always work for another. We should never be critical of one another but supportive in whatever decisions we make for children and ourselves. The problem we seem to face is that nothing is ever lasting. Once you think that you have something down pat then it changes and it not longer works anymore. Such as, our 10 year old autie has now decided that he wants to fall asleep on the living room floor in front of the TV while it is on a channel playing " easy listening " music. Our mind set was go to bed for comfort but then realized that if it will work without him throwing a fit or being restless for a couple of hours before finally going to sleep, then we need to go with it! and Michele (parents of Beth, 17; Noelle,14; and , 10, autistic)
