Guest guest
Hi! is suppose to have his DB (Dobb's brace) time reduced from 23/7 to 14 hours on Friday. I'm curious as to what type of shoes to buy him. 's Physical Therapist said to make sure the sole was flexible to help build his arch. So we went to Stride Right yesterday and bought a pair of tennis shoes that velcro and have a flexible sole. However, the store also had walking shoes and I'm thinking we should have bought some of those as well. Anyhow, I was curious what types of shoes are best to use once the time is reduced. Also, I had read that typically the time is reduced from 23/7 to 18 hours. Is it possible that 's will be reduced more because he's older, stands and is working on walking? I completely trust Dr. Dobbs, I was just curious. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi , Don't have any helpful suggestions on shoes as we are on our first bby (except Robeez - they are great for around the house) but wanted to know how is doing in regards to his other health challenges. Our daughter was born with one functional kindney and we just found out (after a series of tests) that her left ( " non-functional " )kindey will most likely not have to be removed. After the renogram *NOT a fun procedure! they determined that her left kidney was posing no threat to her functional kidney and that we will just have to wait and see but that most likely it will shrink on it's own and will not have to be removed, I so hope so!! I remember getting some words of advise/comfort from you just after I joined this board and if I may be so bold, I would really like to know how is doing not just with cf but with his overall health. Hope you all are well!! & Grace 07-21-04 Right unilateral cf FAB 16/7 > > Hi! > is suppose to have his DB (Dobb's brace) time reduced from > 23/7 to 14 hours on Friday.
