Guest guest
Hi Sharyn, Funny I can't get a straight answer as to what my delivery will be like either! I told them I would have another c-section if the baby and my body required it but that I would like to try to VBAC...... They said if I go into labor naturally I can have an epidural and attempt VBAC or I can just ask for a c-section...... But what I don't understand is what if I go into labor naturally right after an injection. This is really making me crazy!!!! They are also keeping me on Lovenox for a few months after the baby is born and I do plan to breastfeed again - I have been told by a few different doctors the lovenox will not effect the baby.....My husband winces everytime he looks at my tummy.........I told him all these sticks are worth one really big freaking piece of jewelry!!!! Guest guest
It's so weird how we get different information on things. It makes me a little nervous. My hemotologist said I wouldnt be able to be on the lovenox while I breastfeed. It makes me wonder how much research has even been done. Tell your DH he owes you big time. I'm such a wimp I make my dh give me my shot every 12hours. My tummy hasnt really bruised yet but it's sore. My arms and legs were bruised really bad and I decided to finallly take the plunge and switch to the belly. You'll have to keep me informed on how your delivery works out since your due before me. I'm a little nervous about it. I counting on the epidural. My home health nurse told me they can give a shot of vitamin K and it can reverse the effects of heprin. I'm hoping to get more answers from the Peri Thursday. Sharyn edd 10/10/
Guest guest
Sharyn- My husband also gives me the wonderful Lovenox injections. I only have to have them 1 x a day, thank God! I have had them for 2 weeks now and still can't even look when he does this. (I also have to check my blood 4 x a day because they gave me the inaccurate glucose testing-this will hopefully change today when I meet with the Diabetic Dietician. My levels have been great!) I have to have the Lovenox injections because 16 years ago I had severe pulmonary embolism from birth control and smoking, I can't believe I even used to smoke. Anyway, I never heard a word about the possibility of another embolism from my other OBGYN who delivered my now 12 and 10 1/2 year old. I guess things have changed a lot in the last 10 years. Well, thanks for sharing your Lovenox info. it's good to know I am not the only one with this going on, I really felt like I was.... Take Care.
