To everyone,

As you know, Unlocking Autism has been working very hard to organize and

raise money for this year's Power of ONE! Rally in Washington, DC on April

27th. We believe in the importance of an annual rally on a national basis

to

raise awareness for autism. When it became evident to us in late October

that plans for this year's rally were falling through, Unlocking Autism

decided it was too important and there was too much momentum to let it

slide. I am very proud of what we have been able to accomplish along with

everyone's help! Everyone has really pitched in with wonderful examples of

teamwork to see this through!

However, we are in our final hours. On April 26th, I will have to write

checks and sign them for the remaining money that we owe for equipment and

services for the rally and for the Open Your Eyes Project. You have been

tremendous in helping us raise money in these last few days. We sent out a

plea for help and quickly raised nearly $8,000. However, we still need to

raise $12,575 before I can write those checks on Thursday, and we need your

help to do it.

If Unlocking Autism cannot pay for these things, our board members will be

held personally responsible for paying for the balance due.

Unlocking Autism has very little overhead costs. Nearly all of the money

goes directly back into the projects that we have. Everyone that works for

Unlocking Autism is a volunteer and no one receives a salary.

We really need your help.

We can reach this goal together if only

500 people give $25

OR

250 people give $50

OR

125 people give $100

If for some reason, we do raise more money than the $12,575 that we need to

have, the money will go directly into a savings account for the activities

for next year.
