Do you have a GI doctor or nutritionist helping you? My daughter is

on the pediasure enteral formula which has less sugar and less

osmolality than the ones available in stores I get them through home

health care (dont ask me what it is, it was explained in the last

MAGIC newsletter, if you become a member, ask for the back issue.

There was also a very good article on formula choice which said

pediasure may be fine for some but not for all due all). It also

suggested whole milk with carnation instant breakfast (CIB) but I

think CIB has also quite a bit of sugar. I also add olive oil to my

daughters food. But I must say my daughter is SGA not RSS (per all

the doctors who has saw her, but we havent seen Dr H yet).

:

I give my son Pediasure enteral formula also (with or without fiber).

My son is SGA (non-RSS - confirmed by Dr. Harbison) and is not tube-

fed, so we can not get our insurance to cover it. What I do is I buy

them on eBay, and I can often find terrific deals. Just something for

you to know if you have to pay out of your own pocket also.
