Guest guest
My Dearest Daughter, Today, is officially 16 years old. I’m sure she feels excited about being on the verge of adulthood, as well she should be. But for me, with her life in my heart, her presence on this planet has been like a drop of water in an ocean of time, as if feels like it was only yesterday that I held her tiny body in my hands for the first time – the moment I discovered what real love was all about. Though she has grown in so many ways, one thing has remained constant through the years, and that is how proud she has always made me. Strong of spirit and will, determined and driven, born with a heart of gold, she has never given me pause to doubt that she will do wonderful things with her life. I bore others with stories of my daughter’s accomplishments, her gentle spirit, her generous soul, her charm and wit, and her grace and beauty. Her very life honors mine, for she is the reflection of all that I am or ever hoped to be, only better. The world may not know it yet, but it will be a better place because is in it. shines with a brilliance that lights up the darkest night. Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for the blessing of your life – that I have been chosen by God to be her mother. And though I know her childhood has not been easy, I hope she will always remember that the decisions made for her were made with her best interest at heart and made with a love so strong, nothing in Heaven or on earth could match its power and strength. I hope is never afraid to dream her dreams, but remembers to go the distance to make them realities. In the history of the world, there has never been and will never be another KRISTEN. She is so special and so unique, and God does not duplicate perfection. She never fills her life with worry, sadness, regrets, or self doubt – as they are useless and time-wasting emotions for a young woman like who has so much going for her. She trusts in the power of who she is, then trusts God to do the rest. He holds her in the palm of His hand. She is never alone. HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY, my precious daughter. I hope she has a lifetime of warm memories and moments to celebrate. Guest guest
Joanne, Happy Birthday to (a day late), and to you (since after all, you did a lot of work to get her here!).
