Guest guest
, I have it. 3/12 cups homemade broth (beef, lamb, chicken or fish) 2 oz organic liver cut into small pieces 5 tbls lactose 1/4 cup whey 1 tbls coconut oil 1 tsp cod liver oil 1 tsp unrefined sunflower oil 2 tsps extra virgin olive oil 100 mg vit C tablet, crushed Cook liver in broth, liquefy in food processor or blender. When cool-stir in remaining ingredients. I guess you could leave out the lactose and whey, if you had to. There is also a milk based formula and I guess you could substitute the milk for rice or potato. Let me know if you want that recipe. This is a good book, also. Guest guest
Dear Listmates - We have a 10 month old son who is totally breastfeed - no formula. We are going to an Autism Symposium this weekend so I will need to leave something for one or two feedings each day (too late to start pumping for me). I haven't found a formula that doesn't have casein or soy in it (Nutrimigen as both). Any suggestions? Rice or potato milk even though it is fat free? An earlier posting in March mentioned a book, " Nourishing Traditions " by Sally Fallon that had a recipe for formula. I ordered it from Amazon.com but it won't be here in time. Any one have that recipe? Thanks so much for help in St. Louis
