Guest guest
I know this has been discussed before but i wanted to know what casuses a blister? is in the mitchell shoes 16/7 and last night we had a horrible night. she kept waking up and she did not need to nurse so finally at 5:oo i decided to check her feet and she has a blister on her right foot on the side just below her big toe. she had one on the left too but on the outside of the foot not the inside. i put them on again and put bandaids where she had the blisters and now i removed her shoes and they seem to be going away. so did i just put them on wrong or to tight? or not tight enough? and BL CF 12/16/03 s 16/
Guest guest
i would say they may have been a little loose and her foot was able to move... grace had that problem the first time we tried the dbb... and i ended up having to take her back to the brace shop and a different guy showed me how to put them on... and showed me how to press down with my thumb on the top of her foot and make sure that her foot is flat and that will prevent any movement in the shoes and prevent any blisters... she got such a horrible one that she still has a scar from it... and i feel horrible every time i see it because if i had done it right it would have never happened.. but... live and learn.. she has the dobb's brace now and so far have not had a single problem with anything.. but i still make sure that i get ehr foot flat and all that.... hth mommy to Grace 12-03-03 BCF Dobb's Brace 23/7 michelle andyandsamanthamom@...> wrote: I know this has been discussed before but i wanted to know what casuses a blister? is in the mitchell shoes 16/7 and last night we had a horrible night. she kept waking up and she did not need to nurse so finally at 5:oo i decided to check her feet and she has a blister on her right foot on the side just below her big toe. she had one on the left too but on the outside of the foot not the inside. i put them on again and put bandaids where she had the blisters and now i removed her shoes and they seem to be going away. so did i just put them on wrong or to tight? or not tight enough? and BL CF 12/16/03 s 16/
Guest guest
Blisters are caused by some kind of friction. There doesn't have to be much movement to cause one unfortunately. They're going away? That's great, I hope you never see them again. Poor little girl.
