They will always go by your first day of your last period...so right now your

are 9 weeks pergnant...they can definantly hear and see something...we heard

Adia's heartbeat at 5 weeks...that was 3 weeks gestational age...hope this

Hi. Was wondering about the first pre-natal visit. Mine is in 2

weeks (assuming I'm pregnant--2+ HPTs) and I read that a lot of you

went to see your OBs during the 8/9th week. Is that gestational age

or time since conception? I will be at 7 weeks gestational age

during my first appointment, so I am assuming there won't be anything

to see on an ultrasound, but would the heartbeat be audible? My DH

is irked because I didn't ask any questions of my OB's nurse, but to

be honest, I was so shocked they were scheduling an appointment I

didn't think to ask any of the detailed questions.

My practitioners, an NP & OB, count from the 1st day of the LMP. I

went in @ 7 weeks, embryo was 5 wks old.

Heartbeat heard @ 11 1/2 weeks, fetus is 9 1/2 wks old, I guess.
