Guest guest
I have had sudden onset of muscle cramping along with a lot of pain for years. The only relief I have ever found is to take two Tylenol 3s at bedtime. Usually by the next morning the pain is much better. Doctors don't seem to think that the Tylenol3 is what I should use but they haven't come up with alternatives. Maybe I don't yell loud enough. Fortunately (or not) I have had surgery often enough that I hoard any pain meds I get at these times. But this doesn't seem like a solution to be. I would like to know what brings the pain on. There doesn't seem to be any relation between activity level, stress or anything else I cab pinpoint.
Guest guest
I realize I am extremely late in adding to my previouus message about all over my body extreme muscle pain. The outcome was that my doctor ordered blood work. The results showed BUN 40 (10-25); Sodium 134 (135- 145) I'll add that my sodium level is always low. Everything else was within normal range. The doctor suggested that I drink Pedialyte or Gatorade with Pedialyte being preferred. The result was wonderful. After 4 or 5 hours of drinking 6 to 8 ounces of Pedialyte every hour or so the pain was gone. Don't know if this will work for anyone else.
