My 6 yr. old is autistic and has not had a single vaccine. I believe his

autism was caused by a serious yeast infection when he was hospitalized for 4

1/2 weeks shortly after birth for a heart condition. I *do* however believe

there is a connection, and none of my children have had vaccines.

I've wondered about that myself. I travelled while growing up, so had loads

of vaccines, making sure I was totally covered. Plus I'm O- so had the

globulin shot (twice with some of them).

When your son was hopspitalized, did he receive ANY shots?? It is highly

likely that not only vacs are preserved with thimerisol. However, I am

truly pondering that while mercury sets up a conditoin that creates yeast to

flourish, if there is not another preexisting factor in relation to yeast

problems besides mercury. I do believe though that we cant be certain that

other shots any of us received do not contain thimerisol. For example, I

went into premature labor twice before my son was born and I feel it is

highly likely that the shots they gave me both times could have had

thimerisol in them. Further, I had a tetanus shot right before my son was

conceived etc

taste in my mouth for a full 17 wks of the preg. Only thing that masked it

I found the post regarding hospitalization for a heart condition very

interesting as a possible source for exposure to mercury. My autistic

child also has heart issues and I believe his poor heart function

played a part in his becoming mercury toxic from his vaccinations. He

was in congestive heart failure and vaccinated nonetheless. We know

that CHF impairs the body's ability to rid toxins..decreased

urination due to fluid retention, constipation due to poor digestive

processes. I also often wonder what if any products containing

thimerosol might have been used in the care of my child for the first

week of life while he was hospitalized for observation of his heart,

as well as for the week he was hospitalized for open heart surgery. I

believe thimerosol is used in prepping for many hospital procedures.

Anyone have more info? I believe the risk of vaccination in heart

kids is very much underestimated. They often tend to be smaller which

would also predispose them to mercury toxicity. My son received 46X

the EPA recommended daily allowance of mercury in his first hep b

shot.

Getting to the GFCF topic, I believe my son's food sensitivities were

present from birth but really became evident after his 12 month

immunizations which contained mercury. It was shortly after this that

he fell off his growth curve, became severely intolerant of foods,

and began exhibiting signs of not hearing.

Most definitely!! If the removal wasnt done properly, it would be put right

in to your blood stream as well and yes, the fact you could taste it is not

good! Any of you who have similar circumstances, including fillings, Rh-

shots, vacs, lots of shots after birth, flu shots while pregnant etc etc,

lots of fish consumption before, during pregnany--the best thing you could

do is have a heavy metals test run on your children fro Doctors Data. And

read about autism and mercury at www.autism.org/ari Sorry, I feel like

the mercury fanatic but this is something we should know about our

children--would explain a lot as to why you are here today if your child has

signs of mercury. P.

Do they still use mercury in dental fillings? If not, when did they

stop? I have a mouth full of fillings -- can they replace them with

something safer?

Oh they still use them but you can definitely replace them with something

safer. However , it is a very precarious procedure from the standpoint that

you need a doctor who TRULY knows what they are doing--other wise you will

be poisoned more. I know of a good doctor here in CA but I dont know where

you are. tracy REMINDER: If your children get cavities, DO NOT get

metal, or amalgam fillings--opt for the white fillings!!! Otherwise, more

toxicity our kids cant handle! Also, you cant do mercury detox with the

fillings in because it will leak the mercury into the body more.

Yes, I believe he used a porcillin filling with crown to replace my 2 back

ones but I am sure I still have more. Can't afford the dental bills as we

have no dental insurance.

Thanks for the warning! Do you happen to know anything about the

anti-cavity coating they can put on teeth now, to prevent cavities? Is that

safe?
