A reasonable substitute for the ramen noodles would probably the rice

noodles you can find even at the regular store in the Oriental foods

aisle.

As far as GF spaghetti, I like Pastariso the best. It is made of

brown rice flour and rice bran and is very nutritious and cooks up

great!

I don't know about eating them raw, but we've found

that rice noodles and bean thread work really well

with spaghetti sauce and other noodle applications.

Milo especially likes the bean thread because the

clearness and the texture combine sensory play with

mealtime for him.

Pinky,

You can buy rice spaghetti at nearly any store- I get it at Kroger.

We had it last night for dinner- it is just like the " real " stuff!

The closest thing to Ramen noodles that are GFCF are Jasmine Rice Soup

Noodles. These are GFCF, and they are put out by Thai Kitchen.

If there are any Asian markets in your area, try shopping there...amazing

varieties of rice noodles...in every size and quantity you can imagine. Plus,

you can purchase rice flours, tapioca Starch, sweet rice flour, and other GF

ingredients at a significantly lower price than at Health food store. Also,

we buy both white and brown rice in quantity at the Vietnamese market (have

been doing this for years ..pre GFCF) It may take a little getting used to

unusual sights and smells, but well worth the adventure!
