Guest guest
Joyce W and ALL: My the mouth of one of my heros Karyn Seroussi: Just for the record- and I have heard from so many people that the test results were not consistent with response to the diet. These peptides can degrade in the urine during storage and shipping. As hard as it is to try the diet without a guarantee, it is important to make sure that none of the responders slip through the cracks. We emphasize that every child with autistic behaviors needs a 3-month trial on the diet, regardless of the test results. In my opinion, until there is more accurate testing available, testing should be considered optional, and could be used simply as a guideline. Children who often respond to the diet may have the following symptoms: Gastrointestinal problems Self-limited diet (usually to milk/wheat) Insensitivity to pain I always say that if your child has the above symptoms, you must try the diet. If your child has none of the above symptoms, you must try the diet. * Karyn Seroussi labs normal We got a verbal result that the following tested WithinNormalLimits Urine Amino Acids Within Normal Limits Urine Organic Acids Within Normal Limits Blood Amino Acids Within Normal Limits Does this mean anything without knowing the numbers? i have to put in a written request for the copies of the lab results. Also, Does this have any bearing on whether or not GFCF will help?
