Guest guest
Cindy (and I am posting this to everyone): I finally got ahold of a live person at Dr. Harbison's office. Here is an update. 1) Yadira and the office staff are no longer at Cornell Weill. (I don't know if that means that they are already working at Mt. Sinai to get things ready or what, but the person at Cornell answering the phone certainly wasn't going to tell me). 2) Dr. Harbison (as well as Dr. Neu and the balance of the staff of their dept.) are leaving Cornell Weill at the end of this May, and will begin at Mt. Sinai effective the first week of June. 3) Dr. Harbison continues to see her currently scheduled patients ONLY at Cornell Weill. No one is scheduling any patients at this time beyond her current schedule. 4) Cornell Weill is in the process of sending all of the Dr. Harbison patients in their database a letter with a medical records release form. It is imperative that you sign this form and return it ASAP. This will allow your records to transfer with Dr. Harbison to Mt. Sinai. Yadira will then call everyone who has appts in the system from May onwards (appts at Cornell Weill) -- she will call us and reschedule for new ones at Mt. Sinai. 5) For those of you who are NEW and would like to make an appointment with Dr. Harbison, we have to wait a bit until we get a phone number where Yadira will be at Mt. Sinai when she has a working office and working appointment book. 6) For those of you who are CURRENT patients and haven't made a future appointment yet, also be patient. Transitions for doctors moving to new hospitals are always very time consuming and difficult and require a lot of patience on everyone's part. We thank you in advance. Please note, however that Dr. H visit times at the convention are going to be ESPECIALLY booked. Do your best to arrive on Wednesday or early on Thursday if you want to be assured of a visit time. And remember, I can not " reserve " you a visit time until you have already registered for the convention. Once you have registered, MAGIC will mail you a 2-pg questionnaire -- fill this out and mail it back to me. Thank you again for all your patience. Guest guest
Hi and All, My daughter was scheduled to see Dr.H on April 16th and when I was signing in, the secreatary told me that " by the way you won't be seeing Dr.h today, isabel will be just measured " and I was really mad but she said she left us a voice message regarding that and I never recieved it. We live in NJ so it wasn't bad for us but if any of you are scheduled to see Dr.H and coming from far places pleaese call them and ask if you will be able to see Dr.H. Anyway I ran into Dr.H on the hallway and she said I wil be getting a letter in the mail with the phone. no to call to make an appt. with her at Mt.Sinai. Guest guest
Yadira is not at Mt. Sinai yet. She took the month of April off and will start at Mt. Sinai in May. I must have had a chatty person on the phone. He gave me lots of info about the move. Nothing that has not already posted - except for the part about Yadira. Jodi Z. Guest guest
We have an appointment with Dr H tomorrow. After about 15 phone calls, I finally got through and had someone check on my appointment for me. I was told that our appointment is going ahead, and that Dr H will be there tomorrow. I will let everyone know tomorrow what happens. Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 4 year old twins
