Guest guest
I want to say thank you to all of you who gave me your well wishes a few months ago when I had my second miscarriage. I have a question now though. My doctors found that I am hyper stimulated and that my ovaries, cysts, and folicules are huge and I can not go through more fertility treatment until we get them shrinked. Problem is though I have had vein ligation and a lot of phlabitis so I can not take birth control pills due to blood clots. My last choice is to take lupron. I was wondering if anyone has taken this or knows anything about this drug. It has only been approved by the FDA for men with prostate cancer. Some women have serious side effects. I would appreciate any information because basically if I don't take this drug I am saying that I am done trying to have a child and that is very difficult for me even though I have all my husbands support. I would love some more information before I have to make this decision. Thank you again. Dawn

Guest guest
Dawn, I dont know much about Lupron b/c my OB was offering to me as a tx for my endometriosis, but at $1,300 a shot AFTER my insurance kicked in, I couldn't afford it.
Guest guest
My middle daughter has to get one of those every 25 days to prevent her from going into puberty too early. Last I checked they were about $1700, but thankfully our insurance picked up everything after the first $500 or so I think. Otherwise I'd be trying to explain menstrual periods to a mentally disabled seven year old. -Kris on 6/6/04 4:47 PM, Sheila Renae at angel_of_mercy_911@... wrote: Dawn, I dont know much about Lupron b/c my OB was offering to me as a tx for my endometriosis, but at $1,300 a shot AFTER my insurance kicked in, I couldn't afford it.
