Guest guest
Aleksander is back in the DDB and Markells again. I'm hopeful that things will go better this time around. He was being more like himself yesterday, with only a few bouts of crying when he tried to move his legs. He slep in his crib last night, and woke up every 3 - 4 hours to eat. He's been sleeping through the night before the DDB, but we'll take the 3 - 4 hours after how things went last time. He's had the bar on for nearly 24 hours now with no signs of redness, blisters or pressure spots. And, he had a few smiles for Grace, his daycare provider, this morning when we dropped him off. It was so lovely to see his little smile, even if he wasn't showing it off for me! I get the pouts and screams right now since I'm the one who puts the shoes on him, and takes him to his appointments all the time. Now he's taken to looking at me directly and then screaming when he's mad. I have a really hard time not laughing when he does it because it is terribly cute! My husband and I are very hopeful that things will work this time, and I think a large part of it is the helpful hints we've gotten from this message board. I learned more from here than I did from our three appointments with the ATD department, so THANK YOU!!!
