Guest guest
Hi, I have a question for Dave(kirkmans) or anyone else who can answer. I'm wondering if kirkmans cod liver oil and coromega work in the same way? Will the coromega work the same as cod liver oil per Dr Megsons protocol?? I just ordered both I have been using the cod liver oil with my 7 yr old who has been having alot of problems with behavior at school not asd but has language processing disorder ( with terriffic results) and I would like to try with my 6 yr old who is asd but she won't swallow pills and we are having a hard time hiding supplements in juices but she did take the coromega this a.m. with no problem. Thanks for your help, Valarie in Ca
Guest guest
Cod Liver Oil and Coromega are not the same. The reason to supplement with CLO is for the CIS form of vitamin A (see www.kirkmanlabs.com) that Dr. Megson recommends. Coromega on the other hand is a good way to supply omega 3's. On our web site we say in part: " Coromega™ is an advanced essential fatty acid formula that delivers 650 mg. of Omega-3 (similar to a small serving of salmon), including 350 mg. of EPA and 230 mg. of DHA. Also present are small amounts of vitamins C, E and folic acid. Essential fatty acid supplementation is critical in autism. Growth, healing, muscle reflexes, mediating immune response, response to pain, swelling and inflammation, and eye pressure regulation are all affected by a lack on EFA's. These are all of obvious importance in autism. Since essential fatty acids are a key ingredient of the membranes in all body tissues, a deficiency of EFA's could be an important factor in the development of a leaky gut in autistic children. Such a deficiency could lead to an increase in the permeability of the mucosal membrane in the intestine. A leaky gut allows undigested food particles and toxins to get into the bloodstream causing reactions throughout the system. Thanks. I always wonder if this CLO also has the natural OMega 3 in it? I did not see it listed on the label. mt > > > Coromega on the other hand is a good way to supply omega 3's. Guest guest
CLO does contain some omega 3 but not as much as Coromega. > > > Hi, > > > I have a question for Dave(kirkmans) or anyone else who can answer. > > I'm > > > wondering if kirkmans cod liver oil and coromega work in the same > > way? Guest guest
You can use CLO and coromega together. Most children with autism are low on Omega 3's (coromega) and the CIS form of vitamin A (CLO) Thanks Humphrey Kirkman Laboratories > > > Hi, > > > I have a question for Dave(kirkmans) or anyone else who can answer. > > I'm > > > wondering if kirkmans cod liver oil and coromega work in the same > > way? Guest guest
Get ready to read! www.megson.com Dr. M theorizes that damage from the DPT causes the body to be unable to utilize some forms of vitamin A, which in turns causes - among other things - the vision problems in children with ASD and other learning disabled kids. CLO can be utilized and also boosts the immune system. www.kirkmanlabs.com has a lot of articles on supplements, including CLO and Coromega. > What is the codliver oil do? > What is coromega? > As you can see I have no clue, thank God for the computer. > > > Rebekha
