He may carry certain manufactures that dont have thimerosil in them. Check this chart out and print it. Make sure your child is getting a vaccine from the manufacturer that has 0 mg of thimerosil. They are still giving them with mercury, my son unfortunately got his DTP-Hib less than 6 mos ago before I knew about the mercury issue and it had it. I recommend getting records of your childrens immunizations, they by law document the manufacture and lot number so dont let them tell you they cant give you that info.
