Guest guest
Hi Steve, Yes, you have a bit of a negative attitude there! Honestly, if local doctors aren't helping, either a) go to a doctor specializing in mito who is further/far away, or try to treat yourself. Although I see a " mito doc " (she isn't a worldwide specialist, but sees several on this list and seems knowledgeable and caring), she only recommended the first two (CoQ10 and Carnitor) mito cocktail components, and I had to try the others on my own, adding and removing things to see if they help. I can say that in my case, intense exercise, NADH, Vitamin B2, and Vitamin K seem to be helping me *tremendously*. I am able to work a full-time job, and haven't had to crawl up the stairs in months I used to have stroke-like episodes daily, and now it's been a long while since I had one. That being said, I can start naming people on this list who have had trouble with each of those treatments. I don't do well with CoQ10 and Carnitor, but the four things I listed help me. I am not a medical doctor, and I can't tell you anything other than what works for me, but it sounds like you are at a turning point where either you completely shun medical care, find a doctor who knows there is treatment and/or amelioration for mito symptoms, or look into alternative treatments on your own. Make a list - what bothers you most? What symptoms can you put up with? If the lipomas bother you the most, is there a way to find a specialist in treating/removing them? Out of 30 doctors or so that I've seen, maybe 3 were useful, and only a handful more who weren't useful were at least caring - I wish your experience was unique. Take care, RH
