Guest guest
Okay ya'll... I am watching Baby Story.. just wanting to ring the Dad to Be's neck. He is saying " come on baby " ... repeated over and over.. as if he is at the race track... wanted his favorite horse to win. Meanwhile.. the women is pushing and pushing... and her entire family is staring at her crotch.. waiting for the head to appear. While birth is a blessed event... I would be very uncomfy with a husband who thinks I am a horse at a race... and my family looking at my cooch.. I am still embarrassed that my grandfather saw my boob in the recovery room after Noah was born... I was all drugged out.. and my sheet had slipped . Dh was kind enough to cover me up.. but not kind enough to NOT tell me about it... he thought it was funny.. MEN!!! Sheesh! mommy to: Noah 10/14/02 - 31 weeker - 3lbs 11 oz - 16.5 inches long edd 11/18/04 - Jonah or Deanna Marie - 60 lbs and counting!!!! Guest guest
I would be ssooo pissed. I was upset that my sister, sister inlaw and hubby too saw my crotch when I was pushing my dd out. I told them it ws okay to stay at my head and when the baby started to crown the doctor told them to come look. I about DIED, i was ssooo EMBARRASSED. Guest guest
honestly, I dont think the people in the delivery room even look at the vagina as a " VAGINA " . I think all they see and focus on is the head coming out. Perhaps how large the head is coming out through a very tiny hole and quite a few comment on all of the blood, but for the most part, it's such a miraculous, blessed event, not many actually see a " vagina " as a vagina. hope this helps calm your baby peeves...lol

Guest guest
When I had my c-section 4.5 years ago I truly wanted to die because I was laying there naked except for snoopy socks on with my boobs in my armpits.....I didn't understand why I couldn't at least have a sports bra on!!! This was also pre-WLS so it wasn't a pretty sight!!!!! If I have to have a c-section this time I am putting my foot down. This is my body and I don't want the whole state to see my boobs! I worked in the medical field as a paramedic and we always protected the modesty of our patients!!!! Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! Jonas Due July 28, 2004! Guest guest
Hmmm, in my intro post, I described my fear of childbirth as an experience, that among other things can be, you know, undignified. Thankfully, you all reassured me they DON'T do enemas anymore. However, the thought of a billion people probing me, & staring @ my crotch & um, anus, is not my favorite thought. Who knows, maybe my overwhelming need for modesty stems from being a survivor of childhood sex abuse. Hopefully the feelings of joy will be greater than the feeling of degradation. Hope I didn't disturb anyone with TMI. WlsMomma

Guest guest
, I know how you feel. During the delivery of my first child, my then husband handed the camera to a nurse. We were so excited to get the pictures we took them to the one-hour photo place in the mall. Imagine my surprise when we got the pictures....Yep, me and all my private parts for everyone to see! All I kept thinking was how people are able to stop by the window and see the pictures being printed and would be able to recognize me.
