Guest guest
Hey everyone! It has been awhile. Quick refresh.... Me , Daughter Shalom, now 2 and a half. Feet still in Dbb 10-12hrs a night. Feet look good. Now here's the new info..... Husband is prof at University and during Spring Break we took in an International Student who is from Antigua. He was a great guy, big, tall and ate as much as the rest of us (6) put together. By the last night of his stay we found out he has 2 sisters who were born with clubfoot. The elder of the two had surgery many years ago. The younger sister is only 4 (he has 6 siblings back home). She is still walking on her single clubbed foot. Well, I e-mailed Dr. P and rec the response from Joyce today that no Ponseti Dr.s in Antigua but if we can get her here they might be able to fix without surgery. She suggested I get ahold of our own Dr, Dr.Dobbs. I would prefer to e-mail him .................... So, does anyone have his e-mail address? Also does anyone know of an organization that helps kids like this? I can imagine that this students mom doesn't have alot as she is a single mother of 7 and the student is here on scholorship, so he didn't pay for his education. As faculty we don't make enough to help on our own but I would be willing to house her here if ..... Well, IF. I haven't mentioned a thing to the student yet. just fact finding and who knows how he or his family would react. So the e-mail address for Dr. Dobbs would be great for the next step.....
