Wow you gave me chills reading that! I am so happy to hear she was born safe

and sound! Congratulations!

s.

Lily Eliza is here!

Hello, All,

Lily Eliza was born on March 28th, 4 weeks early,

weighing in at 6 lbs 5 oz & was 19.5 in. long.

She was born via c-section, after a 3 week stay

in the hospital for me (I was having very frequent

contractions and the docs were afraid my old c-section scar

might give way). It's a good thing she was born

via c-section, because the cord was wrapped around

her neck three times and around her abdomen once (hence

her breech position).

Turns out that she just has a unilateral (left) clubfoot

(docs couldn't decide from the ultrasound if the right

one was as well). She got her first cast on Friday and

so far is tolerating it well.

Thanks to all of you for your support during my pregnancy

& for the help I know you'll be offering during her treatment.

Gratefully,

Kim New

Congratulations!!!!!!! That's a nice heathy weight and height too,

sounds like she was telling you that she was ready and needed to come

out into the world. Glad to hear that she and you are OK and doing

well!

Our daughter also has unilateral (right). Glad she adjusting well to

her cast! Give her a big welcome hug from us!
