Guest guest
Wow you gave me chills reading that! I am so happy to hear she was born safe and sound! Congratulations! s. Lily Eliza is here! Hello, All, Lily Eliza was born on March 28th, 4 weeks early, weighing in at 6 lbs 5 oz & was 19.5 in. long. She was born via c-section, after a 3 week stay in the hospital for me (I was having very frequent contractions and the docs were afraid my old c-section scar might give way). It's a good thing she was born via c-section, because the cord was wrapped around her neck three times and around her abdomen once (hence her breech position). Turns out that she just has a unilateral (left) clubfoot (docs couldn't decide from the ultrasound if the right one was as well). She got her first cast on Friday and so far is tolerating it well. Thanks to all of you for your support during my pregnancy & for the help I know you'll be offering during her treatment. Gratefully, Kim New
