I am hoping to avoid the lumbar puncture. I was pleased that the Neuro's

decision was to review all the other tests first and do the puncture only if

we didn't have enough information. (I am hoping there is enough

information.)

I am so very sorry you had the problem that you did.

Thanks so much for responding.

Hugs,

Marie

I'd avoid the lumbar puncture unless absolutely necessary. If you're

having a bunch of other tests, perhaps they will be conclusive

enough. I had a failed lumbar puncture that gave me temporary

paralysis, although I have scar tissue near my spine that probably

contributed to the problems.

Take care,
