Ah, yes, the FAB as fashion statement...

I once had someone come up to me in a grocery store and start to gush: " Oh, that

thing is so cute, where did you get it? " I just stared at her for a second, not

understanding how she could think that I would go out and buy this for my child

because I thought it was cool. I ended up telling her about how it was part of

the treatment for clubfoot. And then she didn't know what to say.

We used to say it was Jonah's snowboard, that we wanted him to get big

endorsements so we were starting him out early.

Next time is over, let her decorate 's FAB with stickers or

something.

That's too cute. I sent this before but I'll share it again. During Christmas

my brother's 3 year old, who ice skates, walked by Aidan (my son) in his brace

and just matter of factly said, " Oh, he has his skates on " ! and kept walking.

We died laughing.
