Guest guest
As I get farther along in my pregnancy ( at 34.5 weeks now) I am having more and more what I think are low blood sugar episodes. I get all anxious, fuzzy thinking, cranky and just feel horrible. As soon as I eat some protein and some carbs I feel better for about 2 hours and then it starts again. Yesterday it started at 4am and I just couldn't get to feeling right until late afternoon. I just had to keep eating and I felt okay enough to function. I am also noticing that I am more effected by caffeine now. I had been having a small iced coffee everyday and ice tea or a couple diet sodas....I have cut off the coffee and switched to caffeine free diet coke and I feel not so jittery..... Are any of these things happening to any of you? Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! Jonas Due July 28, 2004! I get this too along with a shaky feeling like I am going to pass out and it is my sugar being low, I have checked it to see on several occassions... Guest guest
Chrystal, I seem to remember feeling that way when it was close for Hannah to be born, the low blood sugar thing. It has happened a few times after she was born too. I did just what you did and tried to rest. Hang in there sweetie, your almost done. Axelrod Low Blood Sugar and caffeine?????
