Can I have an elective Caesarean?

Hi Everyone - I am new to this game! Can I still have an elective C-

section with a LAP BAND? I do not want to have a vaginal delivery

but am not sure how the LAP BAND will go? Thanks so much for your

help - this is all so new and exciting!

If you have had a previous c-section there should be no reason you

cannot have an elective section this time around. As long as the OB

stays away from your stomach That is basically what my surgeon

told me although I am RNY I assume the same principal applies. Check

with yoru surgeon for reassurance.
