Guest guest
There is a list of foods cf children can eat/drink without enzymes, I don't know where to find it but one of the things is plain fruits or fruit juice. So don't worry. If a food has no fat or protein it doesn't need enzymes. Next time you're in clinic ask the dietician if she has a list like this or knows where to get one. love, M stupid question > I was just wondering if anyone could answer this stupid question. > my daughter is 9 months old. Guest guest
Hi Theresa; Plain fruit juice or fruit drink is basically sugar and does not require enzymes at all. Likewise, she should not need enzymes later when eating a whole fruit. Jell-o, hard candies that are just sugar and plain popsicles (NOT the ones with ice-cream in them) also will not need enzymes. M P.S. There are no stupid questions. If it is something you wonder about, it is worth asking. Guest guest
There is an enzyme guideline file in the cfparents files section. (Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cfparents and click " files " in the left-hand column, then click the " Research, etc. " folder. The file is called Guidelines for Enzymes " and was given to us when our son was a baby.) Guest guest
Hi Theresa, I was told by Hannah's pulmonary team that no enzymes are needed for juice, pretzels, dry snacks. Hope this helps. Jenna
Guest guest
Hi my daughter's doc's say she doesn't need enzymes for Juice (like juicy juice or something), certain fruits of gummi type snacks. No fat to digest. If it is for Orange juice or anything with banana, She does need a few, but not what she has with regular meals. You might want to double check what exactly she needs enzymes with. She is probably starting to eat more table foods and stuff now and you don't want to overload her with enzymes as much as you don't want to not give her enough. Good luck and let us know what the doc says. stupid question I was just wondering if anyone could answer this stupid question. my daughter is 9 months old. We are starting to give her a juice cup. are we suppose to give her enzymes before having just a small cup of juice. She is up to 5 creon 5. It seems like a lot to go through just for a glass of juice. I know I should ask the doc, but her appointment isn't for a few days, I was just looking for a quick refernce in the mean time. theresa

Guest guest
Hi Christie, I called my primary care doc and told them I suspected i was pregnant and asked for a lab slip to go have a blood pregnancy test done so i could be sure and found out that afternoon that it was indeed positive I do not think you would need a referral to and OB since every woman needs one regardless if they are pregnant or not. I have never had a referral no matter what insurance I had. Good Luck and Congratulations God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
I took a HPT and it was positive. I called my doc and they said that if it was positive then I am pregnant----b/c the test at home are now just as accurate as anything they do in the office. So they set me up an appointment when I was 8 weeks. They said any sooner and they wouldn't be able to see baby on the vaginal prode U/S. Check with your doc on their policy of when to see new pregnant mothers. And if you are getting faint positives, then take it agian in a week---and always in the morning. That is when the hormones are at their highest. Most test give more false negatives than false psoitives. SO if it says your pregnant--then you most likely are. Good liuck. > Hi All! > I took a HPT today and it came back with a faint Positive..actually three > test, all different brands came back with faint positives.
