Hi ,

Well, this isn't actually about the convention. We are in Texas, so

it wouldn't do us much good to try to bring it either! HA HA!

I was writing regarding your bottle question. We were concerned about

taking our son off the bottle at about that same age and our

Pediatrician told us " Don't you dare! " It was his basic caloric

intake also. BUT, our ped still had Storm, My son, on formula at that

age because he felt it was healthier for Storm. Also, do you add

polycose or cornstarch to the bedtime bottle? Not sure which you

should use based on age, someone else will know! Anyhow, it takes

longer to break down and keeps the hypoglycemia at bay even longer in

the system. You may also consider checking the bottle when you go to

bed at night and see if it is empty yet, and if so, refill it! A

middle of the night feeding is a great for these kids especially if

they show symptoms of Hypo-g.

Just thought I would share, cant wait to meet you in Chicago.

Blessings,

Carmen, Mom to Storm, now 8 1/2 years old, 50 pounds, 48 inches, Gh,

reglan, prevacid, and various inhalers for reactive airway disease.
