Guest guest
So far after 3 months my son hasn't wanted his bottle but one time when he was really sick. If we wouldv'e given to him it would have been back to square one. When I took my 3 yr old, autistic, non verbal son off I just showed him the cabinet where I used to store all 20 empty bottle and it was empty. He is and always has been a water only drinker (from the cup) so no issue of dehydration. As far as seeing a difference---yes I have seen alot with his oral/motor defensiveness. It is alot better. He also has a very high arch palate and the bottle was making it worse. I hope it won't eventually have to be repaired but the oral motor specialist said that the nipple was causing this. We were actually doing more harm than satisfying him. How were we to know????? So far so good though, now if I can get him to drink other liquids from his straw sport bottle!! __________________________________________________
