hypospadius surgery at adult age

Chris's 1st repair at age 2 has lasted until recently. He is now 18.

He has had 3 urinary tract infections in the past year (the 2nd one

in April also resulted in epididimyasis). He is scheduled for July

26th and this time the repair will need to be done in two seperate

surgeries. One now that will transfer a skin graft from the thigh

that will eventually make a new uretha...then a second surgery next

summer to form the new tube. Has anyone else gone through this

surgery a second time at an older age?

(BTW-also received his last GH injection on May 16th. He is

now 98 lbs. and 5'.)
