Guest guest
My goodness, there are a lot of us in similar boats. Still, these kinds of gynecological problems seem widespread amongst women who don't have mito, too. So it's hard to tell if there's any relationship. In any case, it's good we're sharing info, keeping records, and supporting each other. I know what it's like to be in too much pain to wear clothes! (I have a huge one-piece pajama thing that doesn't touch my body much for those occassions). Please keep us posted on what develops for you. Guest guest
Shayna I didn't have the pain issue, but had periods that would last several months at a time. I had always had heavy periods. They did a D & C and thought that would take care of a few weeks - 3 days was it. I had a hysterectomy when 40 and they found that my uterus had deep pockets throughout, so the lining could never completely shed. It sure was a relief to have that taken care of. Hormone therapy didn't work at all during the time it was tried. laurie > My goodness, there are a lot of us in similar boats. Guest guest
Here is my experience with they gyn problems. I had moderate pain. Ended up with a hysterectomy at 36 yrs old due to extreamly heavy, never ending periods. I believe that the uterus is just another muscle affected by mito. take care!
