I believe it is page 90 (I leant my book out) of " Special Doets for Special Kids " by , there is a list of " items to always avoid on a GFCF diet " and artificial colors is listed on that list, so I am just so curious why so many of everyone choose to still give artificial colors. I give no artificial colors or flavors, no nitrates and this diet has shown me such positive results with my son and tremendous gains, that I was wondering if more of everyone removed these things (at least the artificial colors, since it is on the list to ALWAYS AVOID) would the childs progress on this diet be improved. Just a thought I wanted to kick out there !! on Long Island New York * ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! My ASD son is the youngest of 5 kids, all of whom have been eating candy since before he was born. I'm trying to find ways to please ALL my children- You should have seen the rejoicing I did when I finally found Quaker Cocoa Blasts!! I rarely give Brett candy (in fact, he doesn't like it all that much), but the other children, being kids, leave things like used sucker sticks on the table, and Brett, being 3, sometimes picks them up. I'm happy to hear that you're able to be so careful about what you bring in the house- I'd have 4 extremely resentful children if I was that careful. Hugs to your little one!
