Guest guest
Janice My youngest son (now 31) had severe, severe migraines for most of his life. He was on multiple meds. He went some time without any migraines and when they started again, he was put on Verapamil. He has very low blood pressure and the only thing he says is that when he stands up he has to stand still a bit longer before walking. It really isn't even noticeable. laurie > ............i just got back from my neuro appt. and she said that i am > experiencing Complicated Migraines. she wants to add Verapamil to my > list of meds. > > i wanted to find out if any of you are taking or have taken this med and > if anyone had a bad experience with it? i am a little concerned about > my blood pressure, > > it is low already and this med can lower your blood > pressure.............be good to yourselves.......janice > > > Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein > are not necessarily those of the list moderators. My son took propananol for a while. It does lower blood pressure because these meds are bp meds. If you have orthostatic hypotension you can have big problems passing out. Are you on the cocktail? Have you tried riboflavin? My son had daily migraine for seven years and the cocktail with 200 mg riboflavin 3X/day works like nothing else ever did. That, a whole lot of neurontin (1200 3X/day), and lamictal 200 mg 2X/day.
