Guest guest
hello, I was wondering if any one uses the magnesium supplement from kirkman. I have been giving it to my daughter to help keep her asleep at night. I give her 1 capsule before bedtime. But this does not seem to be helping much. Can I give her more? And if I do should I give her some in the morning and some at night or all of it at night. She is 7 yo and weighs about 55 LBS. I am also giving her TMG, colostrum, folic acid, vitamins(animal parade) risperdal and tennex. The risperdal and tennex are prescribed by the doctor for behavior. I would appreciate any one's input. I called Kirkmans and I talked to a lady and she said I could give her more but didn't sound real confident. Thanks in advance.
Guest guest
As long as she doesn't get diarrhea, it should be ok. Loose stools are an indicator of too much magnesium We are giving our son a product called Natural Calm. It's a powder Magnesium and it works really well. Guest guest
My Dr. told me that you can't over-dose on magnesium. You're body will naturally get rid of it through diarreah. In fact, he told me to keep increasing it until the diarreah came and then back off of it a little. magnesium supplement > hello, > I was wondering if any one uses the magnesium supplement from kirkman. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply. I increased her magnesium the other night and she had a round of diarrea. I saw the Natural Calm at my HFS but wondered how I would get the whole drink down her. When do you give it to your son? Thanks
