Guest guest
Liz, All treatment at Shriner's is free including the shoes and bar and surgery, etc. If you use Shriner's you won't need to use your insurance and they pay for everything. and 11/10/03 bilateral cf dbb 16/7 > > Has anyone had any experience getting help from Shriner's? Guest guest
Yes I am pretty sure you have to go to their hospital to qualify. I have heard really good things about them but not all of them use the Ponseti method so make sure to ask lots of questions. They will help with driving expenses and cover all the cost of braces, surgeries, and doctors ect. > > Has anyone had any experience getting help from Shriner's? Guest guest
Hi Liz, I think the child has to be treated at Shriners in order for them to pay, however when my son went to Phildelphia Shriners they were aware (and didn't care) that we were also going to another hospital at the same time, so you really could go to both, in order to have them help pay. Philadelphia Shriners does not do the ponseti method though, so we stopped going there all together. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions at chele323232@...
