Guest guest
Wow! Thanks for all the good responses. To: " The Kramer Family " ---He is in the school system with OT/PT services already. They are working with him on various things to help with sensory issues, and with transition. He will be starting in a regular kindergarten next year at 6 years old and will be pulled out for certain services. But at least he will be in with " normal " children to hopefully gain from their " normal " activities. Up to this point he has been in a regular playschool group (with special services). I think this is one of the best things that we have done for him is to keep him integrated with peers who are at their true age level. I am really fearful of starting this diet. I don't know if I am up to it or not. I also have a 22-year-old son who is severly and profoundly mentally handicapped with a seizure disorder and some cerebral palsy-type problems. I think it is possible that this diet might help him too, because he also has some autistic tendencies (spinning and mouthing objects). He is totally dependent. Anyway, thanks to all of you for your responses. God bless you! Kathy
