Guest guest
Don and Pam, I found these sites by using Yahoo and " small vessel disease " as a search. It sounds as if it can cause the same type of damage to the brain as MSA, but by ministrokes or lesions rather than brain cell death due to some other mechanism as in MSA. http://brainpath.medsch.ucla.edu/abstracts/vol12/1203/1203a8.htm http://www.stroke.org/pages/types_small.cfm?category=all http://www.pakns.org/st6.html#Anchor-Smal-5307 http://www.druginfonet.com/faq/faqsbvd.htm There were over 1600 links associated with that search. Guest guest
Hi all, I won't be around for a little while. My dad, who has been ill for a very long time passed away early Tuesday morning (12:30 am). I am very glad that he got to meet his three grandchildren (my 4 year old twins and my brothers 4 month old) before he went. The funeral is today, and I will be sitting shiva for a week. We are announcing Magic Foundation as one of the two charities the family has chosen for donations. - the checks will come in in memory of Harvey Coan - they probably will not say anything about my married name which is Balsan. We are all doing well. I am sure there will be some tears today, but he is truly in a better place and what he was doing here was not living. Guest guest
I'm so sorry to hear about this. I know what it's like to lose your father. Mine passed back in 2000 to lung cancer. I do hope that you find some comfort in the little memories that you have of him. I know that when I look at my girls, I see some of my father and it makes me laugh. It's hard now, but it will get easier with time. Again, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. But as said, he is in a better place now. Guest guest
Judith, I am so sorry for your loss. I can understand that you are glad your children got to know your dad. Just help them keep his memory alive in their minds. Remind them of the special moments they hold dear in their hearts. Your memories of him will live on also.
