Guest guest
Ok, I'm not an expert and I don't recall exactly which artificial colors, but... After the Bill Moyers show " Trade Secrets " , I went to www.pbs.org to view the Trade Secrets website. In one section, rooms in a home were listed, and you could check out the dangerous products in it. In the kitchen section, there was info on some artifical colors and the research about the serious health problems they caused. I don't know if that site still exists, but it's worth looking for, or run a search on articial colors & flavors. It will give you some stomach- turning info from surprisingly mainstream research centers. So we now refer to artificial colors as neurotoxins & pass on them. Initially, we weren't purists (well, still aren't), didn't worry about the additivies, and experienced great gains. Only after gfcfrf became second nature & I was in a food co-op, I started reducing the chemical load. And, yes, that has taken us another step towards recovery. Now that our diet is much cleaner, the effect of consuming artificial colors is obvious. Next on our elimination list is nitrate. > I hear you and have read the book too.
