Judy, how much understanding does your son have? Evan is going to have

blood drawn and he has not had any drawn since he was 2.6 yo. He is 7 yo

now. With him being nonverbal it is always hard to comprehend exactly how

much understanding he does have. I know that he has more than we give him

credit for. It was all I could do to hold him the first time. He is VERY

strong now and I know that I could not hold him for it if he does not want

it done. His little brother was almost too much at 4.6 yo when he recently

had a blood draw. He hates to even have his blood pressure taken.

I guess this is something I had better start working on right now. thanks

for the idea.
