Guest guest
Had another NST and Level II Ultrasound today. Hey, I thought once you were put on bedrest (or partial bedrest for me) you were actually supposed to rest. I've been on the run all week, mostly due to doc and hospital appointments... and this in my first complete week off of work. tsk, tsk, tsk. Anyway, both babies are doing well. The NST results were so much better this time. Both babies were wide awake (maybe because I treated them to a Krispy Kreme original before the appointment, shhh, don't try this at home) and their pulse rates elevated just as they should. The ultrasound was positive too. Both babies are growing neck and neck and are at 4 lb (him) and 3 lb 15 oz (her). We had a good time watching our little boy. He was sucking his thumb and we could see his eyes moving around. It was so weird, but cool to see. He has his head laying on his sister's chest. The image was so sweet to see, 'cause during the imaging, you could see her little hand moving around on the other side of his shoulder, like she had her arm around him. As many ultrasounds as the tech sees each day, she couldn't get enough of the image so we got to play around for a while with the machine. Placentas are still healthy and kiddos are within the 40th percentile for growth. My cervix is still holding strong at 3.6 cm long so we're hoping that my body will still hold out for another 4 weeks at least. Huggz to you all and I hope the ever warming weather doesn't create too many problems for us preggos. Toi
