Guest guest
Daughter Penny in hospital with heart rate that skyrocketed from 70 to 220 after standing up. Had 2 blackouts in last week. Cardiologist wants to do an EPS study ie I think they put a catheter in up to her heart, and am guessing if they find some irregular they might want to do ablation. i've read this is bad for mito but what are the other options! pacemaker i guess? sorry if i'm repeating some questions but am panicking. it is 11.30 pm here and they want to do it in the morning so i thought i'd call for comments re this procedure. they are doing it under local. pamela (melas a3243g)
Guest guest
A cardiac pacemaker is usually implanted to treat SLOW heart rhythms rather than fast. Sometimes another thype of device is implanted for fast heart rhythms but only a very specific type of fast rhythm. pamelama33 pamelama33@...> wrote: Daughter Penny in hospital with heart rate that skyrocketed from 70 to 220 after standing up.
