I thought they were ok. If your child is ok with corn, that is. My ds eats

them without problems...just corn, oil, and salt. But I'm no expert.

The ingredients look OK, but my son get a reaction from them. Don't

know why because he's not sensitive to corn, but we don't use them

anymore. He's fine with regular taco chips.

There is a risk of cross-contamination with Fritos. See

www.gfcfdiet.com

Some kids seem fine with them, others don't. In our family,

initially fritos seemed fine, but more recently we've deleted them

from our personal acceptable list.

Please consider that if your child begins to self-limit to Fritos

(mine did) and/or seems to have a reaction that your child may be

allergic to corn. I initially thought Fritos and Corn Pops were

extremely contaminated even though other families had no problems.

We finally realized our daughter could not tolerate corn (especially

yellow corn).

I have 2 kids that have to be gfcf, and neither can tolerate corn.

Different reactions, but it is a definite no-no in our house. It did

take us a bit to figure it out, so you may want to try eliminating

all corn for a couple of weeks and testing it.
