Guest guest
Naomi and Sharon, thank you for your response. I just finished writing a huge email and Jude is on my lap and he pushed something and erased it. So I am writing again. Here goes....Jude has a website on caringbridge.org/fl/jude and you can go there and read our adoption story. I haven't updated it since Dec. 2004 when we got back from China , but you can read details about the trip because I posted on the website while we were there and you can also read the archives that go back to Oct. 2004. Jude is 2 years old and it is difficult keeping him in the brace , especially during the day. Just alittle bit ago , he was alone in his bedroom with his 3 year old sister, , and he was trying to climb on his toddler bed with his brace on and some how got the brace lodged up under the bed and his right foot pulled out of the brace. My husband went in the room and his left foot ( still in the brace) was rotated up under the bed and he was crying; his right foot looked red. I don't know how his foot came out because I am sure they were on pretty snug. I feel so bad for Jude because he has to wear these things , but I know it is for his own good. We also have a 13 year old too so it gets pretty crazy around here. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works alot and I feel like this is a really hard time right now, and these braces don't make things any easier. Jude has been standing at the coffee table. We put his train set on the coffee table and he stands while playing with it. he has the brace with the bend in the middle so it does make it difficult for him to stand. I will look into sending Dr. Ponseti pictures of Jude's feet and brace. I will try and put some pictures of Jude in the photo section for you under " Kelliher " Anita
