Minivan shopping

Hi All,

When I got pregnant I told hubby he had until June to buy a mini-van.

I have noticed when I go to the mall or shopping centers they have made all the

parking spots smaller. Sometimes I have had to repark the Xterra at the very

end of the lot because there was not enough room to open the doors enough for me

to get our son out without him having to get into some kind of yoga position!

And he is 4 years old and tall and super skinny!!!!

I did not want to have to deal with trying to pull the baby carrier seat in and

out of our Nissan Xterra. And since we live in snow for a good part of the year

I don't want to have to park at the end of the parking lot......

So I decided I needed a mini-van or because they have sliding doors and are so

easy to get in and out of.

I hate mini-vans...I feel as though I am too young to be in one of these mobile

mom mobiles. I love my Xterra - its so sporty.

I'm really fighting this....Why can't they make a really stylish SUV with

sliding doors! I would love a Ford Expedition with sliding doors!!! Oh

well....

So yesterday we drove the Nissan Quest and Chevy Venture. Today we are off to

drive Pontiac Montana's, Fords, and Toyota's and Hondas....

I also hate car salesmen....why do they have to be so insulting to my

intelligence.....(sorry if any of you are married to car salespeople).

So any one have any opinions on the best minivans or worst...

We are leaving with a babysitter because he is just a terror in the

dealerships!!! He said he wants one with a tv......that's all....and if the

minivan didn't have a tv he would go into freak out mode...

I have already told hubby if I do not like the salesperson of the car I am

faking a contraction to get out of there......they do not want to let you leave

these dealerships.....!!!!

Oh well...wish us luck!
