Guest guest
hubby is working all day and I cleaned all day yesterday so I am sore today and i am just hanging out bored as can be. I just made the kids spagetti for dinner, I had actually made the sauce yesterday but we got an unexpected storm come thru and it knocked a tree down across the street at my brothers which pulled the wires out of my pole over here too so I could not finish the noodles, so I had sauce already made for today Good thing cause I did not feel like cooking today. Tomorrow is hubbys day off, so is tueday so I hope we do something together as a family. He will probably want to mow the stupid lawn and take all day doing it, lol. I dusted half a room so far today and quit, lol. I used up all my energy yesterday cleaning. Oh well, I guess I will go flop on the couch with the kids and see whats on. PS, I like this ticker better, it says I have one less day left that the other one, lol... Hugs, Robin
Guest guest
Robin I'm bored with you...although I didn't clean all day yesterday. My husband is the type to say " It's the weekend...don't worry about that now. " Yet he rarely wants to do ANYTHING after work either. So - it comes down to me doing it or it not getting done at all. And lately? I say SCRE* IT! As for a day off? I have an OB appt on Wednesday. We'll see if he asks for some time off to join me. I had spagetti yesterday...must be in the air? in Detroit
Guest guest
Jacque - I'm with you today too. Sometimes I feel like I'd be better off that way also. Like I just said in a previous post, if I don't do it - it won't get done. I keep hearing how I'm not supposed to do this and that...yet no one can find the energy to empty the dishwasher or trash. I cook and they leave the room. The clean laundry sits in the dryer downstairs until half of it is so wrinkled that I whind up re-washing it. " All you have to do is ask. " Well.......when I bring it upstairs two days later - LEAVE ME ALONE! in Detroit

Guest guest
Wow, Chrystal you are lucky. I still do all that crap, even the cat boxes but i am extra careful and use rubber gloves, but we have 8 frickin cats and they need cleaning 2 times a day. He is really not here alot so I guess I should be glad I get what i do out of him. He works for himself so he has to be there to eekp the shop open, we have one helper who works my hubbys days iff, but hubby is gone from wednesday to Sunday from 10 am or so until anywheres from 10-12 midnight. He has Monday Tuesday off but there is never really nothing special to do on those days except clean and yard work. At least the kids are out of school now so we can go fishing and things like that on his days off now and not have to worry about school buses and missing school... Guest guest
We used to be always together until 1. we opened our own business and 2. we now have the kids too so we never get a break since we have noone to watch them for us that we trust, wea re not from around here, We do have a couple closer friends since we moved over here but i still feel weird asking anyone to watch the kids. Before the kids I worked there with him and was gone just as much as him but we were together so it did not matter. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
We were always together until... we got married!!! I have to say.. I like my space and would be all annoyed if dh was always in my business... Dh does go to the big Dr appts with me.... more so because I need him to entertain an active and independent 20 month old.. He has never been to a pediatrician's office either. Dh WAS the first to hold Noah in the NICU... and spent time with him immediately after birth... as I was doped up on morphine after an emergency C Section. He does do all the laundry.. take out the garbage (he needs to be reminded.. I do this by gagging) and of course pays all the bills and works very hard so Noah can have a stay at home mommy... We have a strange relationship.... we met.... after 3 weeks moved intogether... I got preggo that night and we married 8 weeks later... So... there was no dating, falling in love... big wedding... that honeymoon year... 5 months after we were married.. Noah was born prematurely....and so the roller coaster ride got wilder.. We each have our own little hobbies and enjoy our own personal space... and we do spend time together as a couple (obviously.. pg with #2) and as a family... and family is very important to us. Hope you all enjoyed that little glimpse into my dysfunctional life.. Guest guest
Jace goes with me to almost every appointment. He is worried I'll get lost in the big city of Providence ( ha ha) or that one of the construction workers will say something rude to me in front of ....then he of course would have to put a hockey stick up their tushy sideways..... It's cute when I am not pregnant he considers me independent woman...able to leap buildings in a single bound....But as soon as I get pregnant he has to take care of me at all times.... Guest guest
My husband is the same way! The other day I amost fell off of a chair trying to hang some pictures(re located from what will now be the babys room) Hubby says I would have done that I don't want you hurting yourself! Well they only sat proped up against the wall in the hall for 2 weeks where he had to walk around them to get to the bath room! The only reason he takes out the trash is because the smell makes me gag when I do it and it is a reminder to him that he should be doing it in the first place. Usually byu the time I do it it is overflowing and he has been asked to take it out several times! If you want something done you have to do it yourself. - Diane > Jacque - > I'm with you today too. Guest guest
I feel lucky....I'm not allowed to go into the basement which is where the washer and dryer are....He doesn't want me to do stairs. He cleans the cat boxes, takes out the trash and has even cleaned the bathroom... Don't get me wrong I still do plenty but its nice to be pampered... I think the bleeding early in the pregnancy scared the pants off him. Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old! Jonas Due July 28, 2004! Guest guest
Your hubby sounds like a nice guy . I knew a couple where I used to live who got married within knowing each other a week, said they were each others soul mates, and they have been together going on 30 years now They were on a canadian talk show called the Shirley show several years ago about knowing people a short time.
