Guest guest
, When you say your son is on the " diet " , are you referring to removing gluten and casein, or have you looked at removing other common offenders like soy, corn, potatoes? When we started the diet we saw significant improvements, but upon introducing foods he'd never had before like soy, bean flours and increasing corn and potatoes, he lost the gains we had initially seen. For my son, just removing gluten and casein is not enough. He is on a gluten-free, dairy-free, corn-free, soy-free, potatoe-free diet. He also can not tolerate ANY fruits whatsoever. Guest guest
Hi, Ricci: At present we are GFCF (GF almost 4 months, CF over a year). We also greatly restrict his corn, tomatoes, bananas, apples and other fruit juices except pears. We haven't yet tried removing soy, but that's our next planned step (along with trying to completely remove corn). I haven't heard of potatoes being a potential problem...can you give more information about that? I don't know what I'd do without this group -- go crazy, I suppose! Take care, Diet - (was: This diet is doing remarkable things for) > , > When you say your son is on the " diet " , are you referring to removing > gluten and casein, or have you looked at removing other common > offenders like soy, corn, potatoes?
