Hi guys. My little guy is still in traditional daycare with typical

kids, seems to be doing OK in that setting for the time being. Has

been CF for a month (remarkable changes in behavior already!). We'll

go GFCF this

weekend. Daycare uses animal crackers or vanilla wafers as rewards,

and we're trying to find a recipe for a substitute. Preferably shd

be

crisp rather than cakey, like so many GFCF baked goods are. Any

ideas?

I have a suggestion for a ready-made cookie that would be good, if

you are not soy free or corn free. Midel makes one variety of gfcf

cookies -- gingersnaps, they are very crispy and quite good (all of

my family likes them). Their website is ans-natural.com. The

gingersnaps are the only gluten free variety that doesn't use butter

in the ingredients, but if they eventually listen to us, they make a

whole line of gluten free cookies, including animal crackers (o: So

you might want to mention that to them.

Another ready made to try is Health Valley brand Rice Bran Crackers.

These are very crunchy and also quite good.

Hope this helps!
