Guest guest
Are fasciculations -- muscle twitches/pulsations -- common in adult mitochondrial dysfunction? I have had these intermittently since childhood, and they still keep going now that I am in my forties. I notice that they are always stronger and more prevalent when I am dieting; perhaps it means I'm losing more muscle than fat. MF

Guest guest
Thank you, and Laurie, for the information. I lived with these twitches all of my life without knowing exactly what they were until I came across the description of them on the MDAUSA website where I was searching for mitochondrial info. for my children. Pays to dig! Best of Luck on the surgery, Laurie. I am waiting for some myself -- would prefer just to have it over with.
