Guest guest
Titanium is a metal. Titanium dioxide is an inert mineral. The e-mail below states that someone would be more comfortable if DariFree was made titanium-free. I would like to again reiterate that titanium and titanium dioxide are two seperate issues. Comparing titanium to titanium dioxide is similar to comparing carbon to carbon dioxide. Carbon is a chemical element and the major component of coal, petroleum, asphalt, and limestone. Carbon dioxide, however, consists of one atom of carbon joined to two atoms of oxygen and stimulates breathing while in blood. For this reason, carbon dioxide is added to oxygen or ordinary air in artificial respiration and to the gases used in anesthesia. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding this matter. I agree that both mercury and titanium are problems and that is why we would not add those metals to our product. > > The official word, unless I missed something recently, is that titanium is > considered an inert mineral.
